A LETTER FROM THE COACH

(with a lesson in not getting ahead of yourself)

Hello, welcome to my website!

This new-look website has given me the added bonus of being able to write blogs.  With so many topics to choose I hardly know where to start.  Will the blog road ahead be straight or have bends, hills, bumps, false starts, or smooth running?  Will I find blog writing hard work, fun, frustrating, inspiring, informative, exciting, or energising?  Who knows?  This blog thing is a bit of a mystery in some ways and as any sleuth will tell you there is some investigating to do first.

This blog writing as you have probably guessed is a new adventure for me, a new learning curve even.  Like many of us, trying something new for the first time is a bit scary and you cannot be sure how it will turn out.  Like many people going outside my comfort zone makes me a bit nervous.  The way I see it is, if I cannot go outside my own comfort zone how can I ask my clients to try to do this too. We all face things, sometimes on a daily basis, that can make us nervous.  It is important to me that I am authentic, showing up for my clients as they engage on their coaching journey.

Of course, I am drifting off course a bit here and getting ahead of myself as I need my IT expert to give me some lessons in how to get these wonderful blogs up on the website first.

I have to say though, I am becoming more hopeful that I can provide some interesting and thought-provoking blogs, with a bit of added Yorkshire lass humour here and there.  So off I go to create my blogging road map to share with you in the months ahead.
